ECCE Government Scheme

We are registered for the ECCE pre-school Government Scheme which provides subsidized pre-school education to children aged between 3 years 3 months and 4 years 6 months on the 1st September each year.

Curriculum

Children learn from birth. Our Montessori based curriculum reflects the principles and standard’s of Siolta the National Quality Framework for Early Childhood Education developed by the CEDCE.

The Montessori Method of Education recognizes the importance of play and self directed learning as well as structured group based activities. Our curriculum planning and our observations of children's development are focused on Aistear's themes of well-being, exploring and thinking, communicating, and identity and belonging.

The Montessori method has been shown to be a highly effective method of encouraging children’s intellectual, emotional, physical and social development.
